It looks like Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky have headed into the bush — they are celebrating their honeymoon on a South African safari! WWD reports, “sources say the newlyweds have headed into the wild — South Africa.” We guessed right!

President Clinton declined to comment on these speculations Monday, having said little since the wedding except to note his daughter’s nuptials were “wonderful.”

The paper goes on to point out the benefits of a safari for Chelsea and Marc, “First, few would recognize them in South Africa. And second, what paparazzi is going to risk being attacked by a lion or rhino just to get a photo of the couple?”

In our opinion, there may be more than a few paparazzi heading their now willing to take that risk for just one shot!

The Astor Estate, which dates back to 1904 to the son of John Jacob Astor III, had been on the market for $12 million, but since hosting the so-called “wedding of the century” brokers said there has already been interest and immediately raised the price. Another Rhinebeck resident whose house went up for sale the day before the Clinton wedding said he had already seen an increased number of inquiries due to the interest of visitors to the town.

Who needs pre-wedding dance lessons from that Arthur Murray guy when you can get choreography from "Dancing With the Stars" pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy instead?

Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky's "sultry" first dance as husband and wife — part of a little wedding celebration that went down Saturday in New York — was not only on-trend, wedding reception wise, but it was choreographed by the ballroom pro, People reports.

"It was an amazing, funny, unexpected dance," a friend of the bride told the mag.

Chmerkovskiy partnered with Erin Andrews in the most recent season of "DWTS" and has in the past danced with Tia Carrere, Laila Ali, Denise Richards, Misty May-Treanor, Willa Ford, Debi Mazar and Mel B, who was the runner-up that cycle.

WHEN it comes to publicly exploiting one’s nuptials, Chelsea Clinton could fairly be described as the antipode of Bethenny Frankel. Ms. Clinton, in the words of Joanna Coles, the editor of Marie Claire, “shows celebrities how they should be getting married and that it is possible to stay out of the limelight, if you want to.”

Few images of Ms. Clinton’s wedding to Marc Mezvinsky have been released, frustrating those whose livelihoods depend on a feed of nuptial news. Think of the publicity-seeking designers, the poor caption writers for InStyle, the knockoff artists hoping to make a buck off a Chelsea-inspired trend. Once, designers talked freely about their designs, but this week, an assistant to Vera Wang, who made the wedding gown, hung up on a reporter calling for more details.

“Many of us would also love to see her lineup of lavender-clad bridesmaids as well as the children rumored to have been members of the wedding,” wrote Bridget Foley in Women’s Wear Daily. “And, oh yes, a good look at Hillary’s Oscar de la Renta gown, its Italian organza in a high-drama ombréd range from magenta to pale pink.”

That dress (possibly gorgeous, but who can tell?) can barely be seen in the official images. Allen B. Schwartz, the copycat king who has said he will remake the dress, has his work cut out for him. Mr. Mezvinsky, meanwhile, may have suffered a disservice for the lack of a decent photo op. In the image that the men’s suit designer Alan Flusser saw online, the Burberry-clad groom, he said, “looked like Ichabod Crane.”

“The man has a very long neck, and unfortunately, he is wearing a dress shirt that is probably two inches too short,” Mr. Flusser said. “He looked less — how shall I say this? — less stylish than his wife looked.”

Interest in the wedding is understandable, said Susan Cernek, an editor at Glamour.com. “Weddings serve as a calling card for one’s personality and lifestyle. In 24 hours you showcase your social circle, sartorial preferences, family background, visual aesthetic, even your diet preferences.”

Ms. Coles had another theory as to why people might be disappointed by a mere trickle of photos: Despite growing up in the White House, Ms. Clinton appears to have emerged “relatively normal,” she said. “People can’t quite believe it. They long to see a picture of her lying upside down with her dress hanging over her head.”

Although Chelsea is the daughter of the former U.S President Bill Clinton and the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the two newly weds didn’t have expensive fireworks services and a huge celebrity guest list.

Still, little town of Rhinebeck, N.Y. was full of journalists, bloggers and paparazzi, noting and photographing everything that looked like it has some connection to the famous wedding. The nuptials were a private and splendid affair and guests were very happy with it.

There were about 400 family members and friends in front of which Chelsea and Marc tied the know in an interfaith ceremony. Chelsea Clinton looked spectacular in a strapless, princess like wedding gown designed by the famous and Clinton family friend, Vera Wang. At the reception Chelsea changed in a second wedding dress, a more suitable dress for a party, where she danced with her father to “The Way You Look Tonight,” Frank Sinatra’s song. She looked like a true princess of our modern times. Chelsea and Marc gave the guests a real show when they took the floor for a cutely choreographed dance to “At Last.”

Of course Hillary Clinton, the happy mother looked amazing. She opted for a full-length Oscar de la Renta fuchsia gown and I must confess, she looked amazing in it.
The wedding planner, Brian Rafanelli did an amazing job with organizing the wedding of the century, as it was named by numerous tabloids. He really took his oath of silence as a serious matter and worked only with people he trusted they would keep their mouth shut for the media. Well, not all of them kept the silence because a few details were published by the media recently. Details as how much did the wedding cost, who is the designer of the wedding gown and why did Chelsea opted for $15k toilets.
As for the wedding reception itself, well according to several guests cited by ABC, including Roger Clinton (uncle of the bride), the party was spectacular. Although the security was high and guests needed special bracelets to get to the wedding.
If the wedding was indeed spectacular but familiar (there are just a few photos from the wedding featuring the happy couple and the new parents in law), we must believe the guest’s testimonies posted online on various gossip sites.
